The End of March

After a week of programming, finally put my simulation program to an end. However, still have a 20 pages reports to write. How much will I grade myself on this assignment? B- it is... I really want to make it perfect... but still have a text book to be read by monday. Yep... Software Business exam on Monday.

Things to do in this weekend:
1. Finish my 20 pages report.
2. Finish reading "Engineering your Start-up".
3. Research for the business report.

Alot to do, but it still needs to be done.

Aside from hardcore coding, I have updated my music collection this week!

This is the first Gorillaz's concert I have ever watched, a pretty unique concert. Incredible songs and visual effects. A side project developed by the leading singer of BLUR.

Matt Costa's first album! I have been waiting for this album for 2 months. First discovered Matt Costa from Jack Johnson's concert. This guy has the voice that can move your heart! I will say he is the opposite of Damine Rice. Don't know what am I talking about? Buy Damien Rice's "O" album and Matt Costa's album and compare. Hopefully, you will understand what I meant.

Greatest Band, Greatest City, Greatest Audiences

Finally, Coldplay's concert in T.O.
All the greatest songs, the band's spirit, all the audiences' sing along, all the screaming and yelling, and how Christ Martin made the fans went crazy. I had no clue how to express my feeling here! And guess who is the warm up opener for Coldplay? He is Richard Ashcroft, the legendary singer! The vocalist of The Verve. I would for sure go to Richard's own concert and I had no idea he came here with Coldplay... I still remember how he and Coldplay jammed "Bitter Sweet Symphony" at the Live 8 concert. I wished I was there... too bad he didn't jam with Coldplay last night. Hopefully Coldplay will come here with him again next year~

I'm still waiting for K jei to give me the pics from the concerts, gonna post it here once I got it!

P.S. Eejenee was smiling throughout the whole concert~ haha

Time

What I have planned to do today:
1. Finish designing a simulator program for a warehouse.
2. Start programming the simulator.
3. Go workout.
4. Read half of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad".

What I had done today...
1. Went shopping with Stan... (couldn't get out of HMV once I'm in there...)
2. Partly finished designing my program.
3. Read 15 pages of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad".

What's my mood today? SLACKy mood... sometimes I wish there are 30 hours per day~

Hope Stan, Eejenee and K jei will like the Coldplay's Concert.

Uncertainties

Life is full of uncertainties, but I have never had these many uncertainties in my life. What is my goal? What should I do? Where should I go? What are the consequences?

Currently listening: "Comfort of Strangers" by Beth Orton

Concerts

Concerts that I wanna/going to watch this year:
- Coldplay: gonna go to their concert this thursday again, the best concert I have ever been to.
- Jack Johnson: can't believe I missed his concert last year... hopefully he will be back to T.O. this summer with Matt Costa.
- Damien Rice: the most talented singer/song writer. Do I have to go all the way to Ireland to see him play? Damn...

"Gone" by Jack Johnson

Look at all those fancy clothes,
But these could keep us warm just like those.
And what about your soul? Is it cold?
Is it straight from the mold, and ready to be sold?

And cars and phones and diamond rings,
Bling, bling, because those are only removable things.
And what about your mind? Does it shine?
Are there things that concern you, more than your time?

Gone, the wind.
Gone, everything.
Gone, don't give a damn.
Gone, be the birds, when they don't wanna sing.
Gone, people, all awkward with their things,
Gone.

Look at you, out to make a deal.
You try to be appealing, but you lose your appeal.
And what about those shoes you're in today?
They'll do no good, on the bridges you burnt along the way.

Are you willing to sell, anything?
Gone, with your head.
Leave your footprints,
And well shame them with our words.
Gone, people, all careless and consumed.

Gone, gone, gone, everything.
Gone, don't give a damn.
Gone, be the birds, when they don't wanna sing.
Gone, people, all awkward with their things, Gone.
